Technology Transfer

Cornell University's Center for Technology Licensing (CTL)

CTL's mission is to bring the University's scientific discoveries, technological innovations, and medical advances to the marketplace for societal benefit and to foster economic development within New York State and across the nation.

CTL holds events across Cornell's campuses designed to help faculty, staff, and students to understand the process of bringing an invention to commercialization.

Cornell inventors are required to disclose their technologies to CTL via the Invention Disclosure form.

Would you like assistance in filling out this form and better understanding the process?

The CAT hosts monthly CTL Office Hours at Weill Hall!

A licensing professional from the CTL Office will be on hand to answer any questions about your inventions.
